Transitions Birth Center partners with Certified Nurse Midwives (CNM) / Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRN) and a Certified Professional Midwife, all of whom have 20 years of professional delivery experience -- who remain with moms throughout their labor at our facility. Our beautiful, homelike setting gives you the opportunity to have the kind of birth YOU want to have in a safe environment. Each private suite includes a birthing tub.
Transitions Birth Center provides an alternative to childbirth in a hospital. Women are empowered and given control during their labor and delivery. They wear their own clothes, eat and drink during labor, and walk around. You have choices! Mom can labor in a tub, on a birth ball, in a birthing rocker, on a birthing stool, or in any other position that is comfortable for her. When it is time to give birth, mom follows her body to get into the best position: hands and knees, squatting, sitting, lying on her side, or whatever feels right to her.
